At Piedmont Counseling Center, our focus is on supporting our patients in living happier and more peaceful lives. This process can be called “counseling”, or “psychotherapy”, but our goal is to help our patients achieve their goal. We approach our work with high levels of professionalism and utilize current research in proving mental health services that are effective. Some of our treatment methods include cognitive-behavioral therapy, and the Gottman Method (for couples and marital counseling).
We firmly believe in the saying “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care”. While providing counseling services is our business, we also view it as our calling. We get tremendous satisfaction from reducing suffering and promoting peace and happiness in the lives of our patients. We work hard to be responsive and welcoming when people seek our services. You will find us to be compassionate and affirming.
